With recent developments in VR and AR hardware, it has become clear that businesses stand to benefit massively from use of immersive tech. Having written the book Virtual Reality Insider in 2014, I saw first hand how an introductory text could provide value to people. With all the experience I've gained since then, and all the changes in the industry, I felt it was time to write a new book, this time focused on enterprise (the area that will have the biggest economic impact), and adding Augmented Reality information.
The result is VR / AR Enterprise Insider: Guidebook for Virtual Reality and XR. I think people interested in learning more about how VR and AR can be used for businesses will find it a valuable primer to the fundamentals of XR, and veterans will find interesting use-cases and lenses for their own development.
